Computers & Internet

The library has computers available for public use. The library provides a variety of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, and PowerPoint. 

Free Wi-Fi access is available to patrons during the open hours of the library. The wifi name is Itasca Community Library, and no password is required. 

Laptops

The Itasca Community Library makes laptops available to library cardholders to assist in research, networking, recreational use, and document or presentation production needs. Laptops are provided according to availability.

Wireless Printing

Printing from the Web

Printing from laptops or iOS and Android devices is available for public use via ePRINTit. All print jobs sent wirelessly can be picked up at the print release station in the Adult Services department. Ask a librarian if you need any help with this service. Use our wireless printing page to upload documents. Choose a username and click submit. Entering an email address to receive a confirmation is optional.

Printing from an App

Download ePRINTit’s “Public Print Locations” app to print from your smart phone or tablet.

To handle your print jobs, ePRINTit needs to create an account using an email address. You will receive an email with an activation code to confirm within the app. Find the library using the zip code 60143 or the nearby locations option.

To print an email message or attachment, simply forward your email to:

Cost for printing: black and white printing is 10 cents/page; color printing is 25 cents/page.

Fax Services

A fax machine is available for public use for a nominal fee ($1.00 for each page). A credit card can be used with a minimum of $3.00. You may send, but not receive a fax.

Photocopy Services

A photocopier is available for public use. Black and white copies are 10 cents/page and color copies are 25 cents/page.
