Curbside Pickup and Home Delivery

We know you’ve been waiting, and we’re happy to be able to provide you with library materials in a manner that is safe for both patrons and staff. Starting June 1, we will be offering curbside pickup and home delivery for Itasca cardholders.

How It Works

Itasca Community Library cardholders will be able to place holds on items for pickup or delivery. Currently, only items from our library’s collection will be available. Certain larger items with multiple pieces – i.e. learning games, STEM kits – will not be available for pickup. Requests made after the library is closed will be processed the next business day.

FOR CURBSIDE PICKUP:

  • Call, email, or place holds online through the catalog (Itasca items only)
  • Staff will call when your order is ready
  • Park in a spot designated with a numbered sandwich board
  • Call or text to tell staff your name and spot number
  • Please open your trunk or rear door for staff to place your items

FOR HOME DELIVERY:

  • Call, email, or place holds online through the catalog (Itasca items only)
  • Staff will call when your order is ready
  • Staff will arrange a drop-off time at your home

ETIQUETTE TO ENSURE STAFF & PATRON SAFETY:

  • Please maintain proper social distance from staff
  • Please return your items in the book drop
  • Staff will not accept any materials from patrons
  • Please wait until you receive notification before arriving
  • Notify staff if you are not in a vehicle; your order will be left on the
    bench outside the front entrance
