Recommended by Nancy in Readers Services… Nancy’s synopsis: If you haven’t yet discovered Stieg Larsson’s Millenium Trilogy, run to your computer and place a hold on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first book in the series.  Reporter Mickail Blomkvist is hired by a wealthy financier to find out what happened to his niece, Harriet Vanger, who disappeared without a trace 40 years ago.  Lisbeth Salander, the tattooed girl in the title, uses her considerable skills as a hacker to help solve the mystery. She says: When I finished listening to Dragon Tattoo, I immediately requested The Girl Who Played with Fire.  I’m still waiting but reviews tell me that Salander takes center stage in the second Blomkvist/Salander thriller.  Her prints are discovered on the gun that murdered 2 journalists who are about to publish an article exposing the sex trafficking business.  Blomkvist investigates the murder and hopes to clear Salander’s name.  I am going to have to wait till May 2010 for Volume 3, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest to be released in the United States.  If the other 2 volumes are anything like the first, I know I won’t be able to put them down.  Warning…these dark, moody, violent thrillers are not for the...
