This novel follows six characters through one day – the day that Robert Kennedy’s funeral train travels from New York to Washington D.C.
This book is well written with characters that are both believable and likable. The six stories are woven around each other without ever interacting. It’s as if the author has asked these six people “Where were you when Robert Kennedy’s funeral train went through your town?”
I found it hard to remember who was who at first but by the end I was able to keep all the stories straight. There are a few loose ends that don’t get resolved but that doesn’t take away from the story.
