This is a non-fiction account of what drove John Wilkes Booth to murder Lincoln and how he lived on the lam for twelve days. The book also discusses other conspirators and what became of them.
I found this book very interesting and engaging. I learned a lot about the people who shared Booth’s feeling toward Lincoln. The author makes an interesting point about Booth and how some of the conspirators becoming folk legends in a way no other assassins ever could.
