Tips on How to Search Our New Catalog

You may have noticed a change in our catalog. While our LINC catalog (a.k.a. ‘Classic Catalog’) is still an integral part of our service, we have moved over to AquaBrowser as our primary catalog for searching.  Below are some tips to get you acclimated.

Basic Search

  • Enter your terms into the text box and click ‘Search’.
  • A center panel will display results ranked by relevance.
  • Click on an item for full details.

Advanced Search

  • Click on ‘Advanced Search’ at the top of the page.
  • Fill out at least one field in the left-panel and click ‘Search’.
  • Click on an item for full details.

When you search for materials, word clouds appear in a left-hand panel. They display terms related to your search. Click on any of these words to explore.

When you search for materials, a right-hand panel appears giving you options to refine your search. Click on various options to narrow and focus your search.
