At the edge of the continent, in the small town of Crosby, Maine, lives Olive Kitteridge, a retired schoolteacher who deplores the changes in her town and in the world at large but doesn’t always recognize the changes in those around her. This is a book of thirteen related short stories. Olive Kitteridge appears in all the stories one way or another.
I enjoyed this book although I normally don’t read short stories. Each chapter was a new story with Olive Kitteriedge being somehow involved. Sometimes she was the main character and other times she was just mentioned in passing. The book was like a glimpse into the lives of people in a small town.
