The Library now has two Notary Publics on staff. They are usually available Monday through Friday. The notary service is free of charge. For more information call the contact the library at 630 773 1699 or Ask-a-Librarian.
Two meeting rooms are available for community groups to provide accommodations for programs of educational, informational, and civic interest. For more information please contact the library.
The Itasca
Community Library provides library materials for free delivery and pickup to all
Itasca Community Library cardholders who are confined to their home permanently
or temporarily due to age, illness, or physical impediment handicap. For details contact Information Services at 630 773-1699.
The Friends of the Itasca Community Library operate an ongoing book sale in the library. The book sale shelves are located by the New Book shelf.
Located in the lobby of the library is our Paperback Book Exchange Shelf. This program allows patrons to take two books from the shelf and replace them with books from their own collection. This is free of charge and is based on an honor system.
We have an extended loan period of six weeks for books as long as they are not new releases and there are no pending requests. Advise our circulation associates when you are checking out material and you will be given the extension.

Federal/State Income Tax forms and publications will be available at the Library beginning January. State tax forms will be available later in the month.
The library has a Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD) phone available at the Circulation Desk.
