Itasca & Wood Dale:
Connecting Communities Through Reading A $20,000 grant was awarded to Wood Dale and Itasca libraries by
the Illinois State Library. With this grant, the libraries are
launching the Connecting Communities Through Reading program.
Staff at both libraries are developing services and programs together
that complement the strengths of both libraries. From March through
May, special programs include an Open House at each library, community
book discussions and author visits, and other fun events. Click
