Most people are paying for phone services they don’t use or need. The Citizens Utility Board (CUB), a non-profit group created by the State Legislature to fight for the rights of utility consumers, will be holding a free phone bill clinic. Experts will sit down with you and explain all the confusing charges on your bill, and help you sort through the perplexing calling plans being offered in the local and long-distance telephone markets. Bring your latest phone bill.

Please take a moment to visit the library between May 12 – June 9 to experience the interactive display.  “What is Addiction?” was donated to the Village of Itasca by Health World and is being sponsored by the Itasca Community Library, Village of Itasca, and Itasca Police Department.  “What is Addiction?” is a powerful experience that highlights the journey of recovering teen addicts, different types of addictions, and the science behind addiction.  The library is proud to house this exhibit in its West Meeting Room; it will be open to the public during operating hours.
