Winter Reading Club (preschool – grade 8)

The library encourages you to read this winter by joining our Winter Reading Club, “Snow Is Falling, Books Are Calling!” Read or listen to books for at least 8 hours an you will earn a cool prize! Sign up at the Youth Help Desk.

New Year’s Eve Countdown

Too young to stay up until 12:00 midnight? Join us as we count down the new year at 12:00 noon instead! This program for kids in grades K-3 will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:15 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. Registration is required.

Train Time with the Depot

Join us on Thursday, December 18 at 4:30-5:30 p.m. as we celebrate everything train-related. We’ll meet at the library first and then head over to the Itasca Depot Museum to continue the fun! Registration is required. Geared to ages 3-7 years.

Christmas Storytime

Celebrate the holiday season with stories, songs, crafts, and more at Christmas Storytime on Monday, December 8 at 1:00-1:45 p.m. Geared to ages 3-6 years, but younger children are welcome to attend with an adult. Registration is required.

Night with Santa

Join the Village of Itasca at the library for the annual Village Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, December 2 at 5:30-8:00 p.m. Santa will arrive at approximately 5:45 p.m. and other activities include music by the Peacock Middle School Choir and holiday crafts.
