Tuki’s synopsis:
This is a perfect coming-of-age story of Evelyn Bucknow who lives in a small town in Kansas with her single mother, Tina. Tina struggles to get her life together and finds it difficult to cope especially when she is once again pregnant and delivers a severely mentally challenged child. This causes a further rift between Evelyn and her mum and she often has to take on the role of the parent in the home. But she prevails and becomes stronger as a person for all the challenges that are thrown her way.

She says:
I really enjoyed this book, it had all the struggles and heart breaks of teenage angst.  It was an uplifting story and one that can be enjoyed by high school girls.
