In 1968, with the Vietnam War raging, 13-year-old Lyza inherits a project from her deceased grandfather, who had been using his knowledge of maps and geography to locate the lost treasure of Captain Kidd.  Writen in verse, you get a glimpse of what Lyza’s family and friends are going through during the Vietnam War, along with a fast-paced treasure hunting mystery.
